Zusystem Do Not Call (DNC) Policy
Last Updated: February 6, 2025
Zusystem, operating under the Zuleads brand (“we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to complying with all applicable federal and state telemarketing laws, including:
- The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) (47 U.S.C. § 227)
- The Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) (16 C.F.R. Part 310)
- The National Do Not Call Registry (FTC & FCC regulations)
- State-Specific Telemarketing Laws
This policy outlines how we handle Do Not Call (DNC) requests, ensure legal compliance, and limit our liability for telemarketing activities.
1. ZUSYSTEM’S INTERNAL DO NOT CALL LIST
Zusystem maintains an Internal Do Not Call (DNC) List for individuals who request to opt out of telemarketing calls from us.
A. How to Request Do Not Call Status
You may request to be added to our Internal DNC List through any of the following methods:
- Speaking with a representative during a call
- Emailing us at: [email protected]
- Submitting a request via our website (if available)
- Mailing a written request to:
Zusystem DNC Administrator
[Mailing Address – Update Needed]
⚠️ DNC requests are processed within 10 days but no later than 30 days.
B. Required Information for a DNC Request
To be placed on our Internal DNC List, you must provide:
- Your telephone number(s) (required)
- Your full name (optional)
If you change your phone number, you must submit a new request to prevent further calls.
2. CALLS FROM THIRD PARTIES & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Zusystem, under the Zuleads brand, sells and transfers consumer leads to third-party businesses, such as solar companies.
A. Third-Party Calls Are Not Covered by Our DNC List
- Our Internal DNC List only applies to calls from Zusystem/Zuleads.
- Third-party companies who receive your contact information may still call you.
- To stop receiving calls from third-party businesses, you must contact them directly.
B. Express Consent & Revocation
- If you later provide express written consent to be contacted, your previous DNC request is nullified.
- If you change your mind, you must submit a new DNC request.
⚠️ Zusystem/Zuleads is NOT responsible for third-party telemarketing practices.
3. NATIONAL & STATE DO NOT CALL REGISTRIES
In addition to our Internal DNC List, you may:
- Register your number with the National Do Not Call Registry at www.donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-1222.
- Check if your state maintains a State Do Not Call Registry, which may provide additional protections.
⚠️ Even if you are on the National or State DNC List, you may still receive calls from us if:
- You have an existing business relationship (EBR) with Zusystem/Zuleads (within the past 18 months).
- You have provided express written consent to be contacted.
- You make a new inquiry through our website or a partner.
4. COMPLIANCE, MONITORING & ENFORCEMENT
A. How We Ensure Compliance
- All employees and telemarketing agents must complete mandatory DNC training.
- Our system automatically scrubs phone numbers against:
- Zusystem’s Internal DNC List
- The National Do Not Call Registry
- State DNC Lists (if applicable)
B. Call Monitoring & Record-Keeping
- Call logs and recordings are kept for five (5) years as required by law.
- Every DNC request is documented and stored.
C. Violations & Consequences
⚠️ Any employee, contractor, or third-party agent violating this policy will face:
- Immediate termination of telemarketing privileges.
- Fines and penalties under federal and state law.
5. PENALTIES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE
